The TMS50 is not a frequency inverter for elevators, but a complete elevator controller. It has been used for various types of elevators, such as hydraulic elevators, pole-changing motors and VVVF (frequency-controlled drives).

A microcomputer is installed in the TMS50. The 375MC controls all functions of the elevator, such as the light, the door control, the drive unit and the safety circuit of the elevator system.

The 375MC can be used as a stand-alone unit or even with the TMS50/10 EXT extension to use additional I/O channels as an extension.
