Repair services

We specialize in frequency inverters for elevators from various manufacturers. We distinguish between repair and service replacement. You will find a separate description of both services in the next two sections.

Troubleshooting and repair

During a general overhaul, troubleshooting and fault diagnostics are first carried out in the laboratory. The cause of the fault is then rectified so that the appliances work again.

General overhaul

A general overhaul of the electronics is then carried out to guarantee a long service life. This involves replacing all wearing parts that are at risk of failing due to age.

Guarantee

The general overhaul ensures that the frequency inverters are as good as new, which is why we give a 2-year guarantee on all our repairs.

Repair process

When repairing frequency inverters, the cause of the fault is first determined. The repair time, including the general overhaul of the frequency inverter, takes 3 to 5 days. To reduce the repair time, it can be helpful to obtain a fault description from the service technician in advance.

Cleaning

In addition, the frequency inverters for elevators are disassembled into their components immediately after receipt and professionally cleaned in a special process.

General overhaul

Electronic components age and can therefore fail. During the general overhaul of frequency inverters, it is particularly important that wearing parts are always replaced. Examples of wearing parts are power modules, electrolytic capacitors, optocouplers, relays, contactors and fans.

Parameters

During the repair, the existing parameters are always retained so that a time-consuming and complicated commissioning process is not required when reinstalling. During commissioning, all motor parameters are usually programmed in, the load measurement is set and a teach-in run is carried out.

Service exchange

Sometimes things have to happen extremely quickly, so our service exchange is the solution for you. With a service exchange, a frequency inverter that has already been overhauled is delivered from stock in advance and installed. The defective frequency inverter in the elevator system is then overhauled again and stored for the next service exchange.

Commissioning

We support service technicians with the commissioning of replacement devices by telephone or, if required, even on site. Our service partners are experienced and trained technicians who regularly install and commission the most common frequency inverters. For support, we offer the possibility of obtaining advice and support by telephone via our hotline.

All-inclusive prices

You will usually receive an all-inclusive price for the repair work before you place your order. This price guarantee allows you to plan your costs in advance.

Inspection before repair

Some electrical components must be checked in advance in order to calculate a repair price. This procedure can also be helpful to avoid misdiagnosis. After the check, you can be sure whether the electronics are defective or not.

Technician on site

If required, we will send a technician to help you with your problem on site. Whether troubleshooting, installation or commissioning, we can provide you with the support you need in most parts of Germany.

Service Center

Service centers are operated by partner companies and are trained and certified to carry out repair work and commissioning on site.

Logistics service

If you don’t have any packaging material to hand, you can take advantage of our logistics service.

Defective electronics can be returned to over 500 logistics centers. The logistics centers take care of the professional packaging and shipping on our behalf.
